ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Emily Lavoll is a queer, neurodivergent designer studying for her master's in architecture at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. By emphasizing the built environment of marginalized folk, she hopes to cast a limelight on worlds not often covered by others. In her free time, Emily explores opportunities for representational refinement through kit-bashing, graphic design, video manufacturing, and other tantalizing mediums. By studying invisible worlds and visualizing worlds that yet to exist, Emily attempts to mend the disconnect between our built environment and the need for social justice.
